Frequently Asked Questions

Make sure to place your flowers in water as soon as possible after the event. First trim the ends of each stem, wrap stems in a paper towel and tightly secure with a rubber band. Submerge in water until the towel is fully soaked.
-
That is okay, just get them in water as soon as possible! Fresh flowers work the best for floral preservation but if any of your blooms arrive looking sad we will simply use the better looking parts to make your piece of art. Don’t fret! Sometimes all we need is one petal.
-
It can take 1-2 months depending on the design style you choose and the type of bloom. Certain flowers have higher water content and take longer in the drying process.
-
We will use as many of your blooms as possible, but depending on the quality of the blooms when they arrive and the design you choose some pieces may not be added. We will do our best to represent the original bouquet.
-
Flowers naturally lose some of their color in the drying and aging process. White flowers can tend to turn brown or yellow slightly. While we strive to offer the best quality that your flowers will give there will be some color variation in the final product.
-
Certain flowers and stems are unable to be pressed due to their thickness. We design your florals between two pieces of glass and therefore there is a limit to how much room is available for the flowers.
-
As long as you take good care of your frame your pressed flowers should last a lifetime! We do not use any colors, preservatives or chemicals in our work so you can expect a natural fading of color over time. We feel that this adds to the natural and gathered aesthetic and tells a story of the life of the flower. To keep it looking the freshest the longest keep away from direct sunlight and high humidity spaces.
-
